My wife, Natalie and I, first discoved the Online Selling Business while building and operating Cody Party Stores. We have 5 children, and they all wanted to celebrate with a theme we didn't inventory in the store. This led us to buying party supplies from a competing business online. After realizing the search was over and it was that easy, we felt that there was a big opportunity to simplify parents lives. We felt that we could create separate "trusted" online businesses, promoted under different Brands that complimented each other. We could make it easy for parents to sit back, enjoy a glass of wine... and shop online. These products would then be sold and promoted by a sales force of By Cody Consultants in their communities. Our feeling was that if we provided great customers service, reliable product and had By Cody Consultants throughout North America, helping to build trust with potential customers, then nothing could stop us! The next important part of making this a major success, was to develop Franchised By Cody Online distribution partners in each region throughout North America, for each brand. This huge competitive advantange will ensure that we have owner operators focused and passionate about their brand, we can ship to any of our customers within 2 days and can offer our customers reduced shipping rates because of shorter shipping distances. We started off by building A Perfect Party and have continued to do so over the past 5 years. Based on customer demand, we then added Click Costumes and this has been a huge success. Currently we are in the final stages of completing Dream Weddings and Luscious Linens. Future endevors include Groovy Gift Baskets and the The Baby Boutique. Throughout this process, we have realized that the best way to grow these businesses is by offering a succesful formula and sales force to individuals that are passionate about these brands. We also feel that by offering a more local presence, we can be a bigger part of the community, customers will receive their product much quicker and the shipping rates can be greatly reduced.
After 10 years of experience and really getting to know the business, we are ready to share what we have with others. We have created a very profitable and rewarding formula to operate an online store and have added 1000's of Consultants to help promote our brands and sell our products.
